Some guys respond to that in one way, while others will go the other way. Typically, teams who have to travel from the east coast to the west coast for a game will be thrown off a little bit. When you make your NFL football picks, be sure to keep this in the back of your head. In addition to that, teams coming off of a Monday night game lose a great deal of time in preparation, so they tend to struggle as well.

As the NFL season goes along, players get into a routine. When making your NFL predictions, you need to be looking for teams who have been thrown off of their schedule. Uncomfortable teams don’t play football nearly as well as those teams who slide into a comfort zone.
